Understanding the complex interaction of the building form in its original condition and considering removing or adding elements can affect the performance and stability of the building envelope. We provide a bespoke structural design solution working with the client’s architect to produce a design that meets the clients and architect’s requirement and makes sure that the build meets the Building Regulations standards and Part A of the Approved Document. Part A of the standards requires the building to be designed, constructed or altered to ensure that it will be structurally safe.
Civil Engineering
Understanding the complex nature of soil conditions and its impact on any development, whether above or below ground, can significantly affect the civil engineering solution for construction. Whether the construction work is for the superstructure (above ground), or the basements or foundations (below ground) – the civil engineering solution will need to be buildable, cost effective and executable with safety in mind. Building Condition and Structural Surveys

We have a wealth of expertise in the area of building technology, which we are able to complement with our structural engineering knowledge. We are able to produce bespoke reports after completing our on-site surveys, in which we review the impact of the defects and recommend any remedial structural works. Our property and asset reports or engineering design solutions, will enhance the property sale information pack, removing uncertainty on the buildings condition.
